Financial Journalism
I began my career as a financial reporter in London, breaking exclusive stories and writing longer-form pieces in the murky world of debt. I currently work (part-time) as a Middle East correspondent for emerging markets publication REDD and am a contributor to legal news platform Lexology.

Sustainable Finance
The future of finance (and the planet) has to be sustainable and I am interested in the ways business leaders are adapting to a net-zero world.

I have written about the rise of green bonds in Africa for Semafor, investigated the continent's first ever green Panda Bond for Africa Report, and reported on sustainability-linked issuances in European credit markets.
Sovereign Debt
I have extensively covered the fall and rise of Egypt's economy, written about Lebanon's restructuring process and Tunisia's financial fears for REDD Intelligence.

For Africa Report, I explored the dangerous gulf between the foreign investment frenzy and slow domestic growth in Egypt's economy.

Private Credit
I began my career covering breaking news on the fast-moving deal flow in European private markets. I’ve reported on exclusive private credit situations and produced in-depth features on emerging trends across the private markets landscape.
Distressed Debt & Restructuring
I have reported on both corporate distressed and restructuring situations in Europe and MENA, following the lifecycle from the stressed stage, to distressed, then restructuring and the eventual rebirth. Please get it touch for more information.
